“SOFT AWAKENING” Peonies - 20 × 14 inches - Original Watercolor Traditional Art painting, on watercolor fine art paper.
Soft Awakening,
The first moment of light after heaviness
There are moments in life when everything feels quiet, almost suspended…
as if the world is holding its breath.
And then, softly—almost imperceptibly—something begins to shift.
A Soft Awakening captures that delicate return.
The moment when light finds its way back in, not all at once, but gently—
touching each petal with tenderness, inviting it to open again.
The white lilies stand in quiet grace, a symbol of renewal and stillness.
Beside them, the pink peonies unfold with a subtle courage—
a reminder that even the softest things can hold strength.
This piece is not about grand transformation,
but about the beauty of beginning again… slowly, quietly, and with care.
A whisper of hope.
A return to yourself.
